Jake Won't Stop Showing Off His Damn Triceps, Like Everyone Wants to See Them or Something (Alright, We Do)

Gemma Arterton Online has apparently procured a Prince of Persia DVD and/or Blu-Ray early because they're just posting DVD-extra screencaps all over the place.

(Jake, Jake, Jake. You don't write.  You don't call.  You don't send me Prince of Persia DVDs early in the mail.  It's like you don't even care about me anymore.  A cynic might think that after all this time, you weren't ever obsessed with me to begin with!  But oh, I know better.  And the locks are still changed just in case.)

From the featurette, "An Unseen World:  Making Prince of Persia," here is your promised arm action:

And these are more for the bicuspids than the biceps, but it's not like could NOT post them:

And then we also have some YouTube watching to catch up on:

There's, like, a billion more of these over on Disney's YouTube page, or better yet, watch them on Monica's blog, because she's the one who first found them, back when I was being all blah-blah-Mahmoud Ahmadinejad-here-watch-something-three-years-old-instead-of-all-of-this-brand-new-stuff.

(I occasionally get distracted, it's true.)

Lastly today, the Six Degrees post continues to prove that we are all well-connected and high-class people around here, so feel free to add to it indefinitely; I'll stick it in the sidebar once it moves down the page a little more and I'm also going to force Justin W. to tell us more stories about Jake on the set of Nailed.  Enjoy your Sunday!

Thanks to Monica for posting the new Prince of Persia videos!  And thanks to Vanessa for letting me know that Gemma Arterton's fans were getting all the goods. :)

His smile (second picture with Gemma) makes me just *aaaaaaaaaah*

Jake is too sexy for my screen. ;)

I love the smirk when he looks at gemma (first pic i guess) ... he looks like he is up to something that little rogue

I'm among the lucky ones who's got the DVD yesterday. Yesterday! When I thought I had to wait until Sep 14, but apparently in my country, it's been released way earlier.

After throwing a painful rant about what Disney is offering on the DVD (http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/CineFriends/message/9156), it only took me a blink to grab that precious disc from the store rack.

I'm ecstatic. But I still need more Jake.

p.s. Love this site.

Him and Gemma are soooo cute!! Make out and make wonderful babies together already!!

And those 6 degrees stories are incredible!

Becky Heineke September 5, 2010 at 2:10 PM

joelliea, no way! Lucky you! I almost wrote something in the post about everyone being able to buy it on Tuesday but then I realized I was a week off. :( Seems like we've been waiting forever...

Honestly, until just now, I didn't realize that was the only featurette on the DVD (!). What is it with Jake movies and extras?! Even the special edition of BBM was total failure on being worth the money. And then you have movies like Jarhead where the special edition is so expensive most people don't buy it. So much lost potential. :(

Ooh I actually swear Jake has the nicest biceps ever. Scrap that, he has the nicest everything ever. Swooooon.
Can't wait to get the DVD D: I wish I'd seen the film more than once in the cinema...

thats very weird I swear i got the dvd and watch that video about a week ago and i bought it at the supermarket.... how is it possible? idk the weirdest thing is i live in mexico and i got it earlier hahaha i cant believe it (i swear its original)

Initially from the promotional clips they posted in WaltDisneyStudiosAU channel, you'll get Oct 20 for the release date (whuaaat??!! I was about to accept my fate of growing moss around me waiting for that day to come). But then to my relief, I learned that US/Canada is releasing it on Sep 14, UK will be on Sep 13. Yea, different release dates for different regions. Hangin' there.

That featurette is not the only bonus I got. They inserted a Prince of Persia mousepad too @_@.

Oh, PG, the Blu-Ray got more extras. Problem is, I. Don't. Have. BR player. Blueeeh! Now I'm living with the DVD and the single featurette and the mousepad, and a bunch of downloaded Journey Behind-the-Scenes from YouTube. Am gonna watch it over and over, until Disney, hopefully, releases better edition sometimes in the future.

And you're saying Brokeback Mountain DVD special edition is not worthed? How? I'm planning to get that Two-Discs Collector's Edition.

I still dont know why they dont throw as much stuff on these dvd's as they possibly can. People LOVE watching this stuff dont they?! I usually watch the extra stuff before i watch the movie again! Oh well.... there is always the pause button on the biceps!

Becky Heineke September 5, 2010 at 4:56 PM

^^^ I do the same thing Sam! If I like a movie enough to buy it, I almost always am as interested in the goodies as I am the movie itself...

joelliea, I should have phrased that better! :) I never bought the BBM collector's edition because I already had the original version and there was hardly anything new on the 2-disc version (2 new featurettes and a stills gallery, none of which was groundbreaking or worth the cost of buying a second copy). I don't even think there was a commentary. What a missed opportunity! :(

Well, maybe the Gemma site didn't score quite as impressive an exclusive as I thought. I never even though about the DVD being available elsewhere earlier (duh!)... :)

I want me some of those arms! Come hug a pussy Jake! *puppy dog eyes*

Anonymous,  September 5, 2010 at 5:36 PM

LOL, I`m sorry but as spectacular as Jake`s biceps are, I hadn`t noticed them in those pics because all I can see is Mike Newell. What the hell is he wearing?! :DDD

Sophie,  September 5, 2010 at 6:09 PM

well now i understand why i could get it first... well as soon as you get it watch the bonus cuz theres a scene with jake rehearsing a fight scene SHIRTLESS!!! i was totally drooling

KD,  September 5, 2010 at 7:04 PM

SAME SAM SAME. Sometimes I don't even watch the movie...only the extras. I'm really bad when it comes to television shows as well.

KD,  September 6, 2010 at 2:04 AM

Oh, and sorry for my really pathetic commenting lately. School has begun again for me and all these new Season 7 House promos are keeping me busy partying with the Huddy fans...(and going NUTS with how amazing the promos are).

Jake's biceps are looking very good here. I wish we saw more of them more frequently. :\

Sasha,  September 6, 2010 at 4:43 AM

It's actually the TRICEPS we see in the first 3 pics ;) *throwinginsomeanatomylesson* while his upperarm is unfortunatilly covered in the pics from PoP ... no Biceps in this post - sorry guys ;)

Vanessa September 6, 2010 at 8:41 AM

Well, I have to admit I am one that really didn't pay attention in class like I shoulda, so Sasha, I will now say I really love those TRICEPS! **drool**

Thanks for posting these PG!

I pre-ordered my blu ray, but with my luck Amazon won't get it to me until a week after the release, so I will most likely be behind everyone else! I do believe the blu ray does have more extras than the regular DVD.

Can't wait to get my hands on it, that's for sure! >;-)

Becky Heineke September 6, 2010 at 10:08 AM

Sasha is 100% correct and I should not forsake anatomical correctness purely for the sake of continuing a theme from another post! I changed it to triceps (except for the part about bicuspids because the alliteration doesn't work that way).

KD, we totally forgive you for occasionally having to go to school and stuff. :D

Vanessa, you'll have to give us a Blu-ray report! I definitely don't have a Blu-ray player, and if I did, I don't have a nice enough TV to really appreciate. I hope someday to not be poor... :)

joelliea September 6, 2010 at 11:40 AM

Vanessa, which blu-ray are you getting?

Special Features
• Deleted scene: The Banquet: Garsiv Presents Heads
• An Unseen World: Making Prince Of Persia

or

Blu-ray Bonus features:
• CineExplore: The Sands Of Time - Take control of the dagger and use it to unlock secrets behind your favorite scenes! Turn back time and uncover over 40 spellbinding segments - Including "Walking Up Walls", "Filming In Morocco", and "Ostrich Jockey Tryouts" - with this exclusive interactive feature. Blu-ray puts you in control! [exclusive to Blu-ray in Combo Pack]
• Deleted scene: The Banquet: Garsiv Presents Heads

?

Buy. Watch. Report. We demand =D.

PG, aaaa, got it. Exactly. Double-dipping takes a lot of consideration. It would be much simpler should they put e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g into the DVD at the first place.

(Disney! You! *still cursing*).

Extra stuffs make me appreciate the movie even more.

Vanessa September 6, 2010 at 11:54 AM

Hey, joelliea, I got this one here > Prince of Persia blu ray combo

It is way more than I wanted to pay, but I love this movie so much, I just had to go for it... >;-)

& when I FINALLY get it because I refused to pay for fast delivery, then I will be glad to report back what all it entails. ^_^

Sasha,  September 6, 2010 at 12:32 PM

LMAO PG for that new headliner ... sorry for being smarty-pants = pain in the ass *ducksundertable*

Becky Heineke September 6, 2010 at 2:06 PM

^^^ HA HA, I was glad to change it! I strive for a high level of intellectual accuracy anyway. :D

Anonymous,  October 27, 2010 at 11:08 PM

Hey, I can't view your site properly within Opera, I actually hope you look into fixing this.

Becky Heineke October 28, 2010 at 7:38 PM

Ugh, seriously?! :( This makes me so sad. I'll look into it. Thanks for letting me know!
