Prince Dastan Christmas Ornament Actually Weirder Than You Might Think It Would Be

Ho ho ho, Jake fans!  Hallmark (relic of an era in American history in which there was success to be found in making absolutely anything) is issuing a Prince of Persia keepsake ornament, on sale July 10, 2010!  Copyright questionable screenshot below:

"With dagger in hand"?  Really, Hallmark?  You're just going to put that up on your site where children could be reading?

Anyway, as you can see, Dastan will fit right in with the Christmas spirit as he hangs from the neck and gives the illusion that he is running as fast as his feet will carry him away from your tree.

This find comes to me today from gyllenhaalisgr8 who, as you may remember from the distant past of two days ago, pulled out the mother of all Jake projects.  Of course, whenever someone does something truly spectacular (or crazy) around here to show their Jake love, I reward them with a useless graphic representation of a merit badge.  But a comment earlier this week got me thinking...and I realized that a merit badge just wasn't enough for what gyllenhaalisgr8 had done.

So today, I am proud, nay honored, to present the very first ISJ Lifetime Achievement Award For Excellence In Stalking Jake, given to gyllenhaalisgr8 for her Dream Date:

Because after doing something like that, really the only way to top it is an actual dream date with Jake.  And if you've got that going for you, there is no sane reason on this earth why you would still be reading this blog...

So congratulations, gyllenhaalisgr8!  May the world always have enough cardboard to satisfy your dreams, and may all of your Christmases be filled with Jake-adorned trees.
