Alright, So I've Missed a Few Picture Sets Lately...
IHJ has graced us with several sets of Jake pictures recently that I failed to post about, and some deep, long-thought-dead portion of my soul feels something resembling guilt for not making trite and mocking commentary on them the way that I should. :(

Just going through the old comments from JW- simon agent? There was like some big drama with him and WFT wasnt there?
Sasha, I am forever in your debt for posting ANY comments on this blog. :) Those were very, very different times!!
Sam, YES! Oh Em Gee there was so much drama there and to this day, I wonder what happened to Simon. :-/ Cantara sent an e-mail to Susie and me about Jake, and I passed the information along to a friend. That friend sent it to Simon, and Simon posted it as a comment on WFT. Susie and I both felt betrayed (perhaps melodramatically) that this private information had been passed along and then shared publicly. In the ensuing scandal, Simon removed himself completely from the Jake World and the relationship between WFT and JW (which was already awful) deteriorated even further.
Those were such dramatic times! Sometimes I feel sorry for new fans because they will never know how ridiculous/crazy/awesome/stupid/wonderful the fandom used to be!!
(And now I will stop waxing nostalgic, I promise. :))
But for the record, Simon was *very* anti-WFT and he really thought he was helping us. Unfortunately, we were all young and dumb back then and he wound up being a victim to our drama. And he wasn't the only one. You live and learn... :)

Yeh i thought it was something like that, i knew he went over to the dark side ;) but I didnt realise the extent of the betrayal! yeh, i saw his name and felt automatic negativity i had totally forgotton but knew there was something there! Oh the good old days, the DRAMA! *sigh*
I havnt looked up WFT in forever, but i do know that whenever i have i havnt stuck around long.. so yeh, dont bother!

I feel like the drama with WFT was more of a britpopbaby thing, because she and DD had such a rivalry. I was definitely part of some of the back-and-forth, but even the Simon thing I seem to remember being more her than me... This is why I keep telling her she needs to write the companion version to my book so then we'll have the complete story!!! :D

Oh, and Sasha, I'm sorry, I don't know about that video! But I'm pretty sure whoever put out L&OD (20th Century Fox??) is anti-YouTube, because I remember they yanked a lot of clips before the movie came out. Unfortunately, the video is probably gone. :(
FUUU PG that really is bad - a lot of producing companies (music or film) seem to jump on that wagon, at least for my country that is - in my book every 2nd video I can't watch because the content is owned by some shitty company (even if there is a picture-collection-video made by someone with music from xyz - I can't see it because of the music) FUUUUUUUUUUUU >:-(
