I love Maroon 5, but I also like Nickelback, so I can't be counted on for taste. ;D

Brief History of PG & Maroon 5: They played my college in the fall of my senior year in 2003. Kind of fell in love with Adam Levine. Subsequently bought Songs About Jane. Listened to it incessantly. Nicknamed Adam "The Man Whore" after listen #15 or so (seriously, every song he's ever written is about how hot he is). Moved on with my life. Woke up this morning and, quite unbidden, thought about how long it had been since I listened to that album. Listened to it 3 times in a row before going online and finding out he and Jake hung out last night.

Question: AM I PSYCHIC?

I think probably yes.

Anon, your comment made me laugh out loud, intentional or not. ;D I think that was probably the worst possible thing you could have directed towards Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, a man who appears to pride himself on his knowledge of the female anatomy above all else. :)

RH2006, it is a daily struggle to wake up and try to tune in to whatever signals Jake is undoubtedly trying to send me. But every once in a while, I pick up the message loud and clear. ;D

yes, i was there. i wish he hung out and spoke longer. i mean, i can listen to him talk all day. the "cake" he had supposedly bought for her, wasnt from him. the cake was there with one of the popsugar girls. i saw the cake there earlier. unless he had requested them buy it? not sure. anyways, everything felt like it happened in a second. not long enough thats for sure! That's so awesome you got to be there...though I guess you just saw him and you didn't get to talk to him? I wasn't sure what the full deal was, because obviously PopSugar edits their videos to put it all in the best possible light. It doesn't surprise that he didn't stick around. (He never does. Sadly.) Just out of curiosity, how did you get tickets?? That's the sort of thing that I always find out about later and wish like hell I could have gone to! :D

im a frequent Popsugar reader and they had a contest for it. its chosen at random but i took the quiz and posted on fb/twitter (more chances.) few days later i got an email that i got tickets to it! once i got there i found out that other people got tickets just randomly or if they had blogs?! i was SO mad, i was like YOU GUYS DONT LOVE JAKE!? anyways, i was about 5 rows away from where he was standing and he literally walked rt past me when they were walking him out. i wanted to grab him or something but i restrained myself.

yea it was cool overall. free movie. free popcorn and drink. free jake. i know, i never thought i would ever see him in person so it was cool.

That's disappointing that some people were just sort of chosen at random (hello, I would have gone!!!), but otherwise it sounds like it was fun! It's too bad Jake didn't stick around a little longer...though being that close to him, you are the envy of fans everywhere. :D PopSugar sure seems to have the hookup, though. Man. I wish there were more opportunities like this for fans to go to...
