Ouch, Baby. Very Ouch.

What a week for the Jake fans among us!

First, some of us saw Love & Other Drugs for the very first time, and of those of us who did, there was about an 85% chance that it didn't live up to at least some of our expectations...

Then, an exciting US Weekly photoshoot was revealed, which also disappointed roughly 85% of viewers (though not necessarily the same 85% as above).

And as if all of this wasn't enough, our poor little blog here was attacked by a rabid John Barrowman fan who found the post from August in which I called for John Barrowman to be hanged by the neck until dead; s/he was so disgusted by us that s/he wanted to let us know (anonymously) that:

"Ur all a bunch of idiotic assholes for taking what he said so seriously. This whole deluded ownership of Jake Gyllenhaal is, in all honesty, pretty damn pathetic. Get a life all you fools, and stop ragging on John Barrowman..."

(There was some other stuff, too, but that was the part that got the point across.)

Dear anonymous commenter,
I appreciate you taking the time to read this blog but I will never stop hating John Barrowman for trying to take ownership of Jake Gyllenhaal from me.
Prophecy Girl (Head Idiotic Asshole)

I don't know what you all are doing to relieve the horrendous stress of this week, but this idiotic asshole is running a half-marathon tomorrow morning.  My friend Megan, (yes, readers of the book, that Megan!) is in town for the event and we're both looking forward to not having use of our knees for the next 48 to 72 hours.  Hooray!

And I'm telling you this because, for some reason, I feel compelled to announce such things on the internet these days.  I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Hahahaha, LMFAO!!! I SAW that anon comment yesterday too & almost commented back, but thought WTF for? If they are so stupid to not realize sarcastic humor when they read it, then it won't matter what I say anyway. I noticed they have not commented back to yours, so hmmmm.

On another note, GOOD LUCK with the half marathon tomorrow! I'm sure you will do EXCELLENT!

Grrrr...I'm SO angry with that Barrowman fan right now!!

*Tongue firmly in cheek* :D

Once again this blog has made me laugh so just couldn't make it up.

Chapter for the next book PG...How to wind up John Barrowman fans without even trying! Bless anonymous, they must be a sensitive about pot and kettle if we were serious!

Good luck with the run ...I'm itching to get my trainers on at the moment, but the snow here is making it impossible to don anything other than wellies, and I just can't do treadmills :( Still makes for some lovely wintery walks and gorgeous scenery instead :)

FYI, I just posted a few videos of Jake & Anne's press conference in Sydney on the forum in the December news thread here > December Jake News! Scroll down to reply # 16. There is a most excellent 23 minute one too.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I enjoy seeing websites that understand the value of providing a prime resource for free. I truly loved reading your post. Thanks!
