Jake and Peter Knock Over a Coffee Shop, Flee Scene on Foot

Sarsgaard's looking pretty smug about getting away with it, if you ask me.  Somebody get that man away from Jake Gyllenhaal.  Jake's nothing but trouble...

In much happier news...

LATER that same day, Jake ate a I guess we can confirm that Upcoming Project in the sidebar!
YAY!  And what a riveting performance it is!  I feel an Oscar nom coming on, because of the cheeks of course.  This begs the question, though...what's next for Jake?  Time will tell, but I've heard rumors he might be walking into and/or out of an airport at some point.  My fingers remain crossed.

Pics from 2009, but recently released. :)

Wowza, he shaved! :D
He looks good!

Hahahaha, thank you PG, you've made my day, as always :)

Anonymous,  July 10, 2010 at 1:58 PM

Another proof Jake was hitting a low point when PG was not around. Downward spiral hath no fury like a Yillenhoolahay denied...

Vanessa,  July 10, 2010 at 3:25 PM

WTF is that look of Peter's all about? Heheheh, they both think they are incognito, silly boys. There is NO way they will ever escape the eyes of the Gyllenstalkers, they reign supreme!!!

Thanks PG for yet another great start to a fun day at ISJ!

Oh Lena, I am ROFLMAO, that is an "AMAZING" comment, as our hero would say!

I am almost in Jake overdose right now, after last night. 1st it was Highway, then JH, then BB this morning to put a huge smile on my face. I do believe I have moved into Gyllenheaven & do not EVER want to leave.

Next on the menu, another viewing (possibly the last one) of PoP tomorrow, YUMMY. Can't wait to see his highness one more time.

Becky Heineke July 10, 2010 at 3:31 PM

Alas, Tandia, these pictures are old. :( But he still looks good! :D He's sort of dropped off the face of the earth lately, but when he shows up, it'll be interesting to see what the facial hair level is...

Lena, my friend, I am still laughing and echo Vanessa's sentiment. ;D

And Vanessa, there is NO SUCH THING as a Jake overdose. ;)

I love that when I come here, I never know what to expect. That title actually made me laugh out loud. Thank God I`m not at the office. :)

Jake looks delicious in these pics, I hope he`ll look like that when he resurfaces.

What Vanessa, you don`t think Peter looks sexy like that? :DD It was for a play he was in.

Vanessa,  July 10, 2010 at 3:43 PM

Hey Olympia, I was just being silly, I actually adore Peter & all his works. & in reality, I think that look works for him.

OK, back to being insubordinate, I was always known as a troublemaker. Sorry for my indiscretions, couldn't help myself where these 2 are concerned. They tend to bring the devil out in me... >;-)

Leslie July 10, 2010 at 3:50 PM

PG, what a coincidence that I was looking at these exact pictures last night (while trying to find the one of that woman he took to dinner a bit ago)!! It was a shock to see them again so soon considering they're pretty old.

I am in serious withdrawal from lack of JBG news. *twitching*

KD,  July 10, 2010 at 4:02 PM

BAW. I was so excited seeing these pictures, thinking he had finally cleaned up and shaved that horrendous creature growing on his face, when I noted the date. Curses, foiled again!

(But FFFF, he does look good in that jacket. Saarsgaard, what's up with that 'stache? Come on now. It's like all of Hollywood (or Brooklyn in Saarsgaard's case) is following The Brad Pitt.)

(Actually, I lie. I think Saarsgaard looks pretty good in these pics, though I thought he looked best in Jarhead and Rendition...)

I'm eating a bagel and drinking coffee AT THIS MOMENT. Already I feel a little closer to Gylls.

Vanessa - I'm so jealous of you right now! I can't watch any Jake movies until after I return in mid-August. I'm too busy packing and all that junk. GAH, WITHDRAW.

Anonymous,  July 10, 2010 at 4:25 PM

Eating a bagel AND holding a tutu. Wow. Just wow :)

Becky Heineke July 10, 2010 at 6:50 PM

KD, this may be on your blog (which I swear I am going to start reading religiously - along with everyone else's! - as soon as I'm done editing this damn book), and I meant to ask you yesterday and forgot, but where are you??? Being abroad sounds fun and exciting!

And Leslie, I know! Normally I'm all for letting him go on his merry way but I'm thinking he needs to give a girl a break and give me something to write about... :)

KD,  July 10, 2010 at 10:45 PM

PG - I'm going to Hong Kong for three weeks to visit my father and then spending a week in Phuket and Chiang Mai in Thailand. :) My Dad, sister, and I decided to stay closer to "home" this year, instead of going to Europe, Japan, etc. like the previous years.

KD,  July 10, 2010 at 10:48 PM

PG - YES! Traveling is very fun and exciting! :) It's a very eye opening and thrilling experience.

In summer of 2011, I'm going to Morocco (and Spain, but who cares about Spain?! lol). When I found out that's where they shot parts of PoP, I got very excited! :)

Becky Heineke July 11, 2010 at 9:39 AM

KD, my jealousy knows no bounds!! I have not been to a SINGLE ONE of the countries you mentioned in your long and formidable list. Hong Kong, Phuket, and Chiang Mai sounds like a FANTASTIC trip. You will have to tell us all about your adventures AND next year you will have to find some PoP filming locations. Because that would be amazing! :D

I love traveling and yet haven't done it in a while and miss it. My brother works for Hard Rock Cafe and he just got back from working Hard Rock Calling in London...and then afterward he hung out in Amsterdam for a few days. I was so envious the *entire time he was gone*. I need to take a trip!! :D

Vanessa,  July 11, 2010 at 10:27 AM

Whoo-hoo, KD! That is so fabulous to get to travel to all those exotic & exciting places. I agree with PG, I am so envious. I have only been overseas once, a gorgeous trip to Italy & flight change in Paris, but alas I never made it out of the Paris airport! But I vow I will get back overseas some day.

Yes, PLEASE scout out some of the PoP filming locations & bring back pics! You KNOW that would make my day. I am so PoP crazed, I had to buy the gorgeous behind the scenes book of the movie. It is full of great pics from the sets & lots of info PLUS an afterword from the prince himself! & speaking of, I am PoP bound one more time this afternoon before they yank it from my last theater here this week. Have a a great day all! >;-)

Leslie July 11, 2010 at 10:31 AM

Vanessa - that book has been my coffee table book for over a month now. Wish there were more Jake in it though. :)

Vanessa,  July 11, 2010 at 12:22 PM

Leslie, I am so glad to know someone else loves that, I felt SO alone in my lust for Dastan. Geez, the man looks like a god in that movie. OK, I am seriously scaring myself now, as my one track mind won't let me think about anything non Gylls related lately. Can you spell O-C-D??? But on the other hand, what could be more fun & satisfying than loading myself up with more of him? (& yes, I did mean that as a double entendre...)

So, onward to see PoP again in a couple of hours. >;-)

Becky Heineke July 11, 2010 at 1:17 PM

Have fun, Vanessa!! (By the way, what viewing number will this be for you???)

Leslie July 11, 2010 at 1:35 PM

Vanessa: I think you mean O-G-D ;)

Anonymous,  July 11, 2010 at 1:43 PM

Ahhhhh, i see!! Hahahahaha...
Too bad, I was so happy to see that he has finally shaved :P lol..

KD,  July 11, 2010 at 1:54 PM

PG & Vanessa - Thank you! It really is a blessing and I am so thankful that I am able to! PG, I'm sure that between writing your book and keeping tabs on that WILD Jake of yours, it's hard to find time to travel. Very understandable- . You should treat yourself some day soon though, for all your hard work. Put it on Jake's tab. ;D I will definitely report back after my trip and then in 2011, I will be sure to bring along my copy of PoP and take pictures of location, just for you guys.

Vanessa - Paris is gorgeous, is it not? I loved walking along the Seine River in the early mornings and going up the Tower at night. And you are not alone in your Dastan lust! I am eagerly awaiting the DVD release!!

Becky Heineke July 11, 2010 at 6:42 PM

HAHA, KD! I think I WILL take a trip on Jake's tab. He totally owes me. ;D And I'm holding you to the PoP photo spread! Parts of Rendition were filmed in Morocco too, so you will have many, many opportunities for Jake tourism... :D

Vanessa,  July 11, 2010 at 7:42 PM

@PG, that made my lucky number 7! & it was just as good as it was the 1st time... & the theater was half full AGAIN, plus I noticed the rest liked it very well. Made me proud to be the good Gyllenhaalic that I am!

@Leslie, you got me woman! O-G-D, I definitely have THAT! Good one! >;-)

@KD, SO glad to see another Dastan lover. He is my ultimate hero, seriously. I think I must have had a past life in that era as I adore sword & sandal flicks with lots of "buckling of swash" as our hero says. I will be right there in line with you getting my blu ray of PoP. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will give us lots of Gylls in the extras & his voice on the commentary. Yeah baby! >;-)
