Hurry, Christmas, Hurry Fast...

And from the complete opposite side of the spectrum:

Love the Pogues...never fails to put me in a Christmassy mood, even when my friends Dad's Irish band play it in the middle of June!!

'You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot, happy christmas you arse and thank god it's our last!!" quality! What a great choice!

My fave christmas song has to be Mariah...cheesy as hell, but guaranteed to get me and my mates belting it out on the dancefloor on Christmas Eve!

Happy Christmas PG and all you ISJers xx

This has to remain between us, Clarabel (well, between us and the entire internet, but we'll pretend no one will ever see this), but I LOVE THAT MARIAH SONG TOO. It is ridiculously cheesy...but so damned catchy!

And would you believe that up until yesterday, I hadn't even heard Fairytale of New York?! I know. I've failed at humanity. You can thank Cina for enlightening me. :)

One more set of songs goes up tomorrow...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Thanks for posting Fairytale of NY. Love that song. One of your favorite peeps, Marsters, actually toasted to his friend to that song playing at an Irish wake in the movie, P.S. I Love You, that starred one of my favorite peeps, Gerry Butler.

& how could we ever forget Alvin on Christmas? Damn, I sang that song & danced around the living room to it when I was a kid. Glad to see it's still going strong. What a perfect couple of songs to help me get the Christmas spirit. Thanks, woman. I loved this.

Merry Christmas to PG & everyone at ISJ! >;-)

Merry Christmas to my dear PG and Vanessa and all the Stalkers in here and the forum .... :-)

(and just in case everyone is wondering where I went in twitterverse, I changed my name to SilentAngel____ ;) )

No way, Marsters sang that?! WHY have I not seen that movie??! Well, we'll be remedying that... :)

Happy Christmas Eve, everyone!!!

^^^^ Actually he didn't sing it, just toasted to his friend while that song played at the Irish wake. The priest at the wake did sing this part along with the song though, "You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot...." I highly recommend the movie, even if you don't care for romantic dramedies, which that one is. Marsters was good in it, even though it wasn't in a deliciously evil way... >;-)

^^^ Gotcha! He was working on a singing career for a while (maybe still is) so I jumped to conclusions about him singing it! I'll definitely see the movie, though. :) I can't believe I didn't realize he was in it...I've not been a good fan lately!!
