Our (Inter)National Holiday Continues!

I am off in a few minutes for a photoshoot and a very exclusive private screening of Prince of Persia (alright, only one of these two things is true...any guesses?), and I will be back tomorrow with much movie discussion!

In the meantime, here is the last of PopSugar's exciting "I'm A Huge Fan" series with Amanda (though I have it on very good authority that there is MORE exclusive Jake footage to come from these fine folks in the days ahead), and I couldn't leave without posting it:

And I'm totally not crying right now.  Not at all!   The amount of happiness I have for Amanda is truly a great amount of happiness!

Ahem.  So anyway, I hope everyone is off doing their civic duty right now by bumping up the box office gross for the weekend (or Jake will kill you...see below).  I'm liking what I'm seeing in the comments from the last post -- GOOD WORK, SOLDIERS.  Till tomorrow...

Hope you all liked the movie, but 2 hours of Jake just can't be bad, can they...?
I saw it last week. The movie wasn't perfect but like most interesting things, for me, that's part of its charm.
I loved that the movie didn't take itself to seriously, that it was great fun above all else. It doesn't try to be something that it's not.
And Jake was perfect as the good meaning guy; immature sometimes, full of mischief all the time! He's a hero, but not untoucheble... (if that makes any sense?)

Totally makes sense Trijs!!! Totally! Great review!

PHOEBE!! *HUGS* :D (And agreed. *cough*)

Trijs, I love what you said, and in a much more serious (and wordy) manner, that's what I was trying to get across in the review I just posted. It was a good time! Not a perfect movie, but fun to watch and definitely worth the money paid for the entertainment value. :)

Dude, tell me about it! It's completely surreal. And have you seen Prince of Persia yet? Talk about surreal...the whole time I was like, 'Oh, right. THAT'S how I got myself into this mess to begin with.' Damn him. ;D

SO surreal! And no, I haven't seen it yet. Need to get my act together, right? ;-)

Haha! I think you'd enjoy it, if nothing but for the nostalgia factor. :) I need to see it again at some point (and I say that having not seen a Jake movie more than once in the theater since Zodiac!).
